Data deletion

We respect your right to delete your data. Below are the supported options. If anything is unclear, contact us at privacy@wowpostio.com and we will guide you through the process.

Option 1 — Delete your account in-product (recommended)

  1. Sign in at wowpostio.com/auth/login.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Account.
  3. Click «Delete account» and confirm.

This will:

  • Revoke all Instagram access tokens immediately.
  • Permanently delete your account, business profile, posts, drafts, uploaded photos and generated media within 30 days from our active systems.
  • Cancel your subscription at the end of the current billing period (no further charges).

Records that we are legally required to retain (e.g. invoices for tax purposes) will be kept for the minimum period required by law and deleted afterwards.

Option 2 — Disconnect Instagram only

If you want to revoke Instagram access without deleting the rest of your account:

  1. Sign in to WowPostio AI → Settings → Integrations → Instagram → Disconnect.
  2. Or do it directly on Meta’s side at Instagram → Apps and Websites and remove WowPostio AI.

After disconnection, all stored Instagram tokens and cached Instagram data are removed within 24 hours.

Option 3 — Email request

If you cannot access the dashboard, send us an email from the address registered for your account:

  • To: privacy@wowpostio.com
  • Subject: Data deletion request
  • Body: include your account email and the connected Instagram username (if any).

We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR and LGPD requirements.

What gets deleted

  • Profile and authentication data
  • Business profile, brand assets, uploaded reference photos
  • All posts, drafts, generated images, video and voiceover files
  • Instagram tokens, cached Instagram metadata and insights
  • Application logs containing personal identifiers

What we may retain (and why)

  • Anonymised aggregate analytics that no longer identify you (legitimate interest)
  • Invoices and payment records (legal obligation — typically up to 7 years)
